Matt
I was named "Matthew", but prefer to be called "Matt" for the sake of brevity. I don't mind being called "Matthew" though, however it tends to only be friends using a mocking parental tone who call me that!
The name Matthew means "the gift of Yahweh" in Hebrew, with the name having New Testamant origins. Naturally it was chosen by my parents, not me. Blame them.
